Wedding Updo For Long Haired Brides

1. Take a 1 inch thick piece of hair in your hands and twist it. 2. Hold one tiny strand at the top and push the remaining hair up into a ringlet on your head.  3. Wrap the remaining strand around the ringlet and use a bobby pin to pin the ringlet to your head 3. To recreate the top image, grab a friend who can help you create and pin ringlets all the way around.

Haikus, the start

I can’t remember the last time I wrote anything just for fun.  Some guy I started following recently writes a daily love haiku and I was inspired to try writing some.  I didn’t spend a lot of time crafting them.  It was super fun.  I think I’ll try again some time.

Without you snow builds
My heart searches for answers
only questions come

The wind whispers soft
Bananas blossom in springtime
when I think of you

These are different
They do not smell like you do
I prefer your smell

The cats cry for fish
I will not share my tuna
I fear their round eyes

Round plate is empty
Ample food in pot not belly
Eyes mournful and wet

Twinkle lights, red, green.
Candlelight and pine needles
Merry spirits sing

Tri-dent universe
Poseidan destroys with Trident
Trident for chewing

DIY Neon Toe Shoes

(via greenweddingshoes.com)

Materials:
• Nude Patent Pumps – These from local DSW for $40, but here is a great pair for $34 from Steve Madden that would also work great
• Pink Fluorescent Neon Spray Paint or even better Floral Spray (color even less likely to chip!)
• Packing Tape
• Old Towels (to protect your shoes when you spray)

Tape Shoes. First you’ll want to tape your shoes. The area you don’t tape is where the color will be. Tape the rubber sole also because you want a nice, clean finish. You don’t have to tape the inside of your shoes, since we will cover them with an old towel.

Next cover the shoes. Take them outside and spray 2-3 coats on the shoes. Also seal the color with some type of sealer so it lasts longer. This one works well.

And that’s it! You are done. :) The hardest part is making sure you do a good job taping, but otherwise, so easy. Take off the tape and enjoy your fun new shoes!
